Denmark - The Danish Road Directorate

MJK has delivered a SCADA system to the Danish Road Directorate for monitoring pumping stations along the highways and main roads in the Copenhagen area.

Due to wider roads with increasing paved areas combined with more frequent and heavier rainfalls, the Danish Road Directorate has decided to establish a system to control that the rainwater is pumped away and thus ensure highways and roads are kept safer and water free.

The MJK Connect® was chosen for the pumping stations to control pumps with VFDs and communicate with the SCADA system.

For communication between the Connect® and the SCADA system, GPRS communication is used. MJK has delivered all the SCADA software and configured the whole system.
